Weaning off the swaddle?

I'm wondering since LO isn't sleeping that great right now anyways would this be a good time to start weaning him? or should I wait for his sleep to get better again before I start leaving him unswaddled?  Also I know i'm suppose to keep his room at 70 degrees to help prevent SIDS however some times he manages to Houdini an arm out of his blanket and when he wakes up to eat at night that hand is always very cold. Do you think I should turn the thermostat up? or what should I do?

70 degrees seems cold to me. Have you considered getting a Snuza or Angelcare monitor? Also I don't see a reason to wean unless they are starting to roll over.

He is starting to roll over so I figured it's time. I'm not supper worried about SIDS I just figured it that's what recommended its easy enough to fallow but i think its a little cold to so I might just bump up the thermostat a couple degrees.

We keep the temp between 65-68, that's what's recommended.
