I was just reading the LNCI thread from last night and I hope you don't take this the wrong way, but I'm fascinated by your stories. That ghost story was crazy. I believe in ghosts and all that, but never actually experienced anything. I also think it's crazy what you/your family have been through (from the bits and pieces you've mentioned on here)! You always have such interesting stories!
Anyway, no real point to this post, just wanted to tell you that!
Re: **Cheerilee**
I didn't take this the wrong way. Thanks
Sometimes, I'd rather my life be boring and not have stories to share. However, they shaped my life to what it is now and I hope by sharing, others can grow in themselves.
To end the "ghost story," my brother was found not guilty. Our friend's parents showed up to every hearing on my brother's side. My brother was driving, hit the gravel shoulder, and his truck flipped into the ditch. He was wearing his seatbelt but our friend was not. My brother was 21 and our friend was 18. He was ejected and died immediately. At the time, my brother was a volunteer fireman and tried to resuscitate him. There was nothing he could do, but he kept it up until EMTs arrived. He tried calling me 7 times that night and I didn't call him back. I was working in retail for the Christmas season for some extra Christmas money. I checked my phone on my break, but never in a million years thought it would be important. I never let a call from my siblings go unanswered anymore.
I don't know how I missed your reply before.
That's crazy. I'm so glad your brother was found not guilty. How sad for all parties involved. And I think I would never let a call go unanswered again too!!
