Spit up mostly in early morning

SFM: Spit up mostly in early morning

 DD rarely spits up, maybe 1 to 4 times a week.  The majority of the time she spits up during her early morning feeding around 4am.  Any idea why that would be?  I change her diaper before I feed her and she is usually pretty hungry at that time when I BF her.  Is there something about morning and their systems that would cause this?

    It could be you. You have the most milk after you've slept since sleep releases prolactin. When he was teeny tiny I would pump eight ounces after he ate in the MOTN. I've leveled off since them but my letdown is definitely strongest at that 3:30 feeding.

    If she's starving she could be sucking harder making the whole thing worse.
