I am planning to get a bundle me for LO to use in his stroller. Do you take it out and use it in the careseat as well? What do you use to keep the LO warm while the car warms up?
It's very unsafe to use a stroller-type bundle me in the carseat. If your child is still in an infant carrier you can get a shower-cap style carseat cover that's safe, but the bundle me leaves the harness straps way too loose. I never had anything, we keep fleece blankets in the car for the girls and they get in, take their coats off, get buckled and cover up with blankets if it's cold.
As far as a bundle me in the stroller, that was a total must have for me. Best item ever!
Bundle Mes are never to be used with a car seat while in the car. We have always just thrown a blanket on top of her and make sure she wears her hat and gloves (no coat in the car seat either).
Thanks ladies. FYI I will be using the bundle me toddler. Also the issue I have is my LO will be rear facing and I don't like to use blankets in the car since he tends to pull them over his head.
The bundle me toddler is fantastic for a stroller and will last a long time. I loved that thing! How old is your LO that you're concerned about having his blanket pulled over his head? Once the baby is over about 6 months that's not a huge safety concern but using a bundle me or coat in the carseat always is (in fact, even adults should not wear bulky coats under their seatbelt.
Can I bust in here... so I live in Atlanta and it's not nearly as cold here as it is up north. Do you guys use the BundleMe and take LO out in the winter in the stroller? I want to take DS jogging, but I worry about the temperature. What is your temperature cutoff?
I lived in Manhattan for five years, so we were out in the stroller regardless of weather because we had no choice. It was deal with the cold or be stuck inside. In really bitter weather we would use a snowsuit under the bundle me and a rain cover over the stroller as well to keep heat in and wind out. If it was below 15* I usually stayed in, but even that depended because sometimes we had somewhere we *had* to be and had no choice.

LO is 7 months. If my DS had his way he would pull off his blanket, kick off his socks and be freezing cold in the back seat. Just trying to get ideas to keep him warm and contained.
Never used a stroller bundleme, but we got a lot of use out of our bucket seat bundleme. When the girls were little, we'd use the bucket seat in the stroller in the winter, so that worked out perfectly for us. Then as they got older, a blanket in the car worked just fine.

Does LO need a jacket with the urban bundle me? Not sure if I should get the urban or the arctic.
