As part of my workup for my upcoming DE cycle the CA clinic wanted a current SIS (my last was seven months ago) and it showed adenomyosis. I am fairly concerned because, according to my RE, the area affected is a critical implantation area and the medical studies I have read so far are less than positive regarding IVF outcome (some siting up to a 50% lower ongoing pregnancy rate).
Oh and of course, the worst thing for this is estrogen, of which I will be pumping copious amounts of into my body for the DE cycle. Why can?t things ever go smoothly in this IF journey? You just get your head around one thing and you are given something else to deal with.

SAIF/PAIF Welcome
I am so sorry to hear about your c/p (((Hugs)))
As apparently adenomyosis just keeps getting worse, my RE definitely wants me to move forward. It is just the realization that there is now something else working against me besides my eggs.
They told me that there are no real treatments but Lupron can help suppress it a bit temporarily. Apparently it is most common in women of AMA.
Good luck with your WTF today!

SAIF/PAIF Welcome
HI Kitty - had my WTF today and I asked if there is anyway I could have undx endo and my RE was like NO, that wouldn't have anything to do with it anyway. yes, I read that endo (or extreme forms) could impede implantation. Frustrating. he's ordered a hysterogram, but won't do a uterine biopsy. We are going to run the full thyroid panel again and I'm just going to insist on going on synthroid.
So we're shooting for a FET cycle in January - you are too correct? I'm rooting for you!
