Anyone rec their straw sippy? DS does well with the regular sippy we have but I had heard the straw was better developmentally. I'm guessing the straw is a PITA to clean no matter what, just didn't know if there was any that were easier to clean or less likely to leak.

Re: Straw sippy?
We have this one. The straw really isn't bad to clean. It's a soft silicone so it bends easily but you can run really hot water through it without it getting soft or weird.

Sorry it's not clicky. I'm on my phone.
Question for those of you with LOs using the straw sippy - how old was your LO when you first introduced it and how long did it take him/her to "get" how it works and actually drink from it?
We gave DS a straw sippy starting around 6.5 mos and we're at 8 months and he still isn't really drinking from it - but we keep practicing everyday! :-)
The Playtex little grippy trainer cups are perfect to start with. If you squeeze the cup, liquid comes up the straw. Took my daughter all of 5 minutes to figure it out at 7 months!

(though i think they cost half of that at target!)
Awesome! Thanks for the suggestion. We've been using something that looks like this but it is not squeezable. I'm definitely going to try one of these!
