I'm just going to say damn near everyone right now (not you ladies).  I'm in a punchy mood and my holiday weekend sucked.

dh's "friend" and his wife.  (i use the term friend loosely)... after i went through my third m/c  (she knew about them) (they are going through IF stuff now, which sucks)- she was one of those "at least you can get pg" people.

anyway- the point- they were over the night of the draft party in august and this being like right after my d&c- i was a little drinky, out of sorts, on edge (not mean or anything, just not myself, but friendly and nice as usual, her and i were sitting out on the porch talking and i was getting a little teary, but it was all fine bc she was comforting me, seeming sympathetic, and we were talking about this stuff anyway).

the next day at work - the guy is all "what was wrong with kristin last night she was out of her mind, k (wife) thought she was totally losing it"- keep in mind they knew about the m/c's.  and she was asking about it and we were discussing their IF stuff as well.  so it was def. in context.

so the guy goes around and starts gossiping about me and the wife starts going back and forth with her sister on FB about it, like talking about it on the interwebz.  (i deleted and blocked both of the husb and wife after that so NBD now)

 

anyway, all of his other friends came to my defense, including dh. obvs.  

 

they suck.  why does this bother me now?  i dunno.  dh has totally written both of them off.  i guess it just sucks thinking back on it and how nasty someone could be especially considering she is going through her own thing right now.

and i would just like to say- i have never had someone go this weird on me ever before in my life.  i've had all of my friends for YEARS.  i guess maybe i just didn't see the flags that these people were gossipy drama people.

i know right!  it made my heart swell with pride when we were doing xmas cards last night and dh gave me all of his friends addresses except theirs.  and i was like "oh should we send one to them?" and he was like "you know, hun, life is funny somtimes, you find out who people really are when you go through tough times.  they're not even worth talking about".... :swoon: ... i love that guy!

One of my best friends deserves a thraot punch.  N is very bratty and moody all the time.  She offered to help throw the wedding shower for our friends and totally on her own decides to buy all the stuff for it (including a $40) cake.  I told not to do this b/c no one ever eats that much and of course almost always the whole cake is wasted.  Friday she is all moody and bitchy b/c 1) she spent $200 and is broke 2) she drank way too much and is still depressed from it a week later.  I am thinking...not my fault and GROW UP!

Same girl also says the worst things to me about my MC.  "Well at least your married" (since she is not and somehow this should make me feel better?).  "At least your got pregnant."

Also, another BFF is trying and having a difficult time, she is not ovulating and is now seeing an RE.  Well N decides to tell me that her situation is way worse and I need to be thankful that at least I got pregnant.  Both situations are horrible, but totally not the same and should not be compared.  Needless to say, I am taking a break from N right now.

I'm throat punching the Universe today. Or Bad Luck. Or Bad Timing. Whatever you want to call it. Over Thanksgiving was the end of my 2ww, and today I got my BFP. Which sucks all by itself, but I checked FB today for the first time since I left for the holiday last week, and my cousin had posted a pic of me holding her new three-week-old son. That in and of itself is adorable, what is not is another friend posting under that picture, "Maybe you need another one?"

*sigh* Um, yeah. Working on it. Failing at it, but working on it.

I didn't know what to say so I paused for a second and they were like "oh we know that means, don't even ask, not anytime soon". Umm ok you flucking mind readers you got me...Yeah maybe not anytime soon but not by choice you a-holes.

I'm offering up about 16 throat punches for the universe. 

A friend of mine's mother is actively dying from breast cancer.  My friend was very supportive of me when I was miscarrying, and she helped me more than she realizes.  I hate that she is hurting so much right now, and there is absolutely nothing I can do to make it better.

That coupled with the wave of women returning to our board has had me feeling super sad and super pissed off tonight.  

And to make matters worse, DH left on a 3 week business trip today, which means that we have no hope of conceiving this cycle.  2013 has got to be a better year, right?
