Follie check #2

Today I had my 2nd follie check.  This will be day 6 of meds.  I had one measuring 17, two measuring 15, one at 13, a couple at 12 and a couple of smaller ones.  My lining was around 8.5 and I haven't heard back about my estrogen levels.  I go in on Wednesday for my next check, but they said I will probably trigger then. 

 They sent me home to start my ganirelix, which is an interesting story.  I gave myself the shot and thought "hey that wasn't bad at all!"  Next thing I know it was turning very red and swelled up and I was getting a rash all over my belly.  I called the dr and they asked if I had shortness of breath, which I didn't.  I went into panic mode and called dh and then all of the sudden felt awful.  I had shortness of breath and was lightheaded.  I called 911 and then quickly regretted that because I am pretty sure I was just having a panic attack.  About 7 young firemen/paramedics showed up and I was so embarrassed and apologized for wasting their time.  Ugh...I blame all the hormones...feeling much better now and the redness/swelling went away after about an hour or two.    I feel like such a loser!

Sounds like you've had quite an eventful day!  Glad you made it through and are doing better now.

I'm a bit jealous of how fast you are stimming.  Tonight will be my 10th day of meds, and my biggest follies are only 15!  I agree, that you'll probably trigger on Wednessday.  My RE triggered me when my biggiest follie was 20.5,and you are slated to hit at least 20 by then.

I'm telling you...I am a super quick responder!  That's why my doses are so low.  I've been terrified I would develop OHSS, but so far it seems to be going ok.  Looks like we will be triggering around the same time (if all goes well)!  Good luck to you!  I am anxious to see how everything progresses for you.
