How old was your LO when you left him/her overnight at grandparents' house? I have been thinking about what could happen and also if/when DH and I decide to have more, I know he will be staying then.
I left my LO at grandma and grandpas yesterday because DH got the flu and I didn't want my Little man to get it to. He only wakes once to eat at night so I just pumped a bottle and left it for them to heat up when ever he woke up. They said he did great.
I haven't yet and he's 23 months old. My mom and SIL stayed with him at my house when I was in the hospital with DD. If my mom lived closer, I wouldn't have a problem leaving him with her. She has a crib and DS STTN. I won't leave DD until I'm done nursing.
Pretty much this!

Gunnar was left overnight for the first time the day before Carson was born. It was hard on both of us, and looking back, I wish I had left him overnight earlier because it turned into a pretty long stay and he was NOT happy about it!
EDIT: I didn't answer the question, he was three and a half when I left him overnight.
I think my oldest was a year and a half. It was necessary so I could pack our stuff to leave his "father". This one, who knows? Probably not for quite a while. I would imagine he will be fine though. I just have no reason to leave mine overnight. That's why it hasn't happened.

Neither of my boys have ever stayed overnight anyplace else without DH and/or I. DS1 stayed at our home with my mom when I was in the hospital to have DS2, and that was his first night away from us (a week before his second birthday). I was worried that he'd have a hard time, but he did well. By the second night, he was grouchy because he missed me, so DH came home and stayed with him overnight. I don't think I'll really feel comfortable letting either DS stay overnight somewhere without us until I'm positive that he can articulate anything that he needs/wants. I think DS1 would be fine staying at my parents' house now, but I'd still prefer to wait a little longer for his vocabulary to expand more.
First time DD1 stayed overnight with grandparents she was 11 months old. Just this weekend, she stayed overnight with my sister and her DH and she had lots of fun! If it wouldn't have been for the fact that DD2 is EBF, I might have left her overnight too.

My DS is 4 and he has never had an overnight away from home without me or DH. My mom stayed with him at our house for 1 night when DS2 was born. We just haven't ever had any vacations with just me and DH yet or any reason to leave him anywhere overnight.

We have a wedding in January (he'll be 5 months) that is borderline stay over at a hotel. I'm trying to figure out if we take a baby sitter with us to the hotel and have Seth stay with us or if I Ieave him here with a baby sitter. My parents are going to the wedding as well so it would be a trusted friend to watch him. If it was my parents watching, I'd probably have no worries about staying overnight.

Good question!

Ds#1 was 18 months old and we left him for a week.
We live 10 minutes from my parents, so if we are gone for the night my mom just stays at our house.
