PPD Update: Made an appointment

This is an update to my PPD post from yesterday.  A friend came over yesterday and I felt a lot better afterward.  But then we had a kind've rough night.  I thought I'd go back to work and feel a lot better, but I'm sitting here finding it hard to concentrate, teary eyed, and sick to my stomach.  

I've got an appointment for 3:30 with a counselor/social worker. I had been hoping to find one closer to work in case I end up going weekly, but no luck. Anyway...just an update.

I just finished reading your post from the weekend.   Lots of Hugs to you!   SO doesnt' get home until almost midnight some nights because he is taking night classes an hour away from home and sometimes on the way home from work I get so anxious about being alone.   I am glad that you got some company and sorry to hear your night didn't get any better.   I am glad that you were able to get an appointment and I hope that things start to turn around for you.   Hugs keep us updated on how it is going.

Thanks, everyone.  Honestly, no, I don't really feel better having an appointment. Now I'm stressed about how to fit what I assume would be weekly appointments into my workdays. Hopefully after the appointment I'll feel better.

I'm not sure what happened. I feel like i just suddenly got hit by a PPD brick.  I feel like I've regressed 8 or 10 weeks to when LO was crying all the time. I have no idea what happened.  It's just like BAM!! Uncontrollable crying and anxiety.
