We had major issues getting DS to latch (took us 8 weeks), but I think it was more of a mommy error than baby not latching well. We were good after that, although we did have to supplement with formula.
Did you find that your second LO latched easier? How about bf overall?

Having said all that, I still got help from an LC because I had gotten used to nursing a toddler; nursing a newborn is very different! So it helped to have the LC walk me through proper positioning and latching with DD2.
