I've read on a couple boards people who repeatedly test and comment on the increasing darkness of the positive pregnancy line each time they take it. Is there really a significance to that? I thought either you saw a 2 lines, or you don't. Can this test show an increase in hormone levels or something? I took the test twice last week and the positive lines looked the same to me both times, but the 2nd time I took it, the line that I assume is the control line is fainter-is the control line the 2nd line from the tip?
Re: Question about First Response Tests...
Ditto. I wouldn't worry about whether the test line is darker than the control line or not. The control line is the line closest to the handle where you hold the stick, the test line is closest to your pee.

This. Although I also POAS about 20 times after my BFP to see the line get darker, I am pretty sure it doesn't matter. A blood test is the only thing that will truly tell you if the hormone levels are rising.
Good Luck!

I have a whole bag full of sticks from when I got my BFP. I had to make sure that I was pregnant by every brand on the market. One was lighter than the rest and it did worry me. I had to take a few more that day just to be sure.
It doesn't matter. My lines are always light. With my daughter, I POAS about halfway through the pregnancy, and the line was still light lol. A line is a line and the darkness of it doesn't matter at all.
