We're nearing the end of our first trimester. Just curious if there are any laid back momstobe in the area that might want to form a meetup group?

Not sure where you are in W. Forest, but there is a MOMS Group (Moms Offering Moms Support) and it is a great group. There are activities almost every day including stroller rollers, book club and Moms night out. You can just be expecting to be a member. I am the secretary for the club, we are on meetup as well. You do have to live in a particular zip code to join though.

I never come on this board but I am glad I did since I saw this!

Have you tried Trianglemommies.com?  Lots of stuff to do and lots of laid back moms.  I'm in their NWW group.  Most people don't meet up until after their first (that's when I joined) but it's worth checking out!

I just finished my first trimester, just about at 15 weeks now.  I live in Raleigh, by 540/Capital.  I have a daughter who is about to be 3 and I work as a teacher, but I would love to organize some weekend playdates!
