I can't imagine it's pleasant to find out you were about to give your daughter an exclusively male name the day before her birth, haha.

I had no idea people DD'd on this board

I got a less than warm reception on my daughters name - my best friend actually said she hated it - didn't deter me at all!  People need to get a little thicker skin!

Yep, we get DDs off and on. With the added "bi.tches, wh.ores, miserable, rude, bitter..." Pot meet kettle DDers

Many of the names on my list have been ripped to shreds. Some I have kept. Some are just GP names now. Sure, I take things into consideration because those that post here are all human (well...) and have different opinions/experiences/association/vast wealth of knowledge. But it the end...tough ***.

Haha, all I can say is that I hope she names her daughter Piper.

Remember the Shilee Nevaeh post the other day? She went and complained about us on her BMB. Should that be added to the BN bingo card?

Oh, FFS Leland on a girl?! It's not even a nice boy's name, IMO - but it's just WRONG on a girl.

Yikes.  Little Leland is going to be mistaken for a boy ALL the time.

For the record, I LOVE your daughter's name.  Ever since I met an Arden IRL its been at the top of my girl list.  My DH, who has horrible taste in girl names, shot it down
