The day I most need a glass of wine because LO has gone completely BSC is the day I can't have any wine because the screaming banshee who has replaced my daughter wants to eat at totally unpredictable times.

We've been way lucky to have a sweet, easy baby. As far as I can tell, someone snuck into our apartment, took our good natured baby who thrives on routine, and left us a chaos monster who sleeps and eats at random times and fills the downtime with screaming! I can't figure out how they got this demon child to look so much like my baby while adding storage space for 5x as much poop!

Have a glass of wine.  I'm assuming you BF, so you should feel relieved to find out that if you're going to drink wine it's actually recommended you do so while nursing.  This way your body can have ample time to metabolize the alcohol before baby needs to nurse again.

This.  If you have a glass of wine while nursing you should be fine.  Good luck.  I love those unpredictable days.  We have been totally off schedule due to the holiday and family visiting.  I hate to say it but I am almost looking forward to going back to work and having DD go to the sitter so we can all get on a routine again.
