No appetite, me not LO

Hi all!

My 5 day old LO seems to be feeding well, every three hours today although I've had to wake him a few times to eat.  I, on the other hand, have had zero appetite since getting home from the hospital.  I make myself eat *something* for each meal, but it really is a struggle.  I'm trying to drink as much water as possible. 

Anyone else had an issue with no appetite?  I'm really worried about it affecting my supply...

I had the same experience the first week, maybe week and a half, after we got home from the hospital. I had to force myself to eat too.
I did stay thirsty though. As soon as my LO would latch, I'd feel like I would die of thirst if I didn't drink water right then.

My appetite came back before the two week mark on its own and now I have no problem finding the "want" to eat ... Everything.

Hang in there. My supply wasn't effected. Just make sure you eat something.

I had NO appetite for 2 months. You will just have to eat, even if your not hungry, because it will mess with your supply. I liked snacks all da long. And then I got so hungry I couldn't enough ever for several months. And then I was just had a big appetite until I was done.

I was the same way when I had DS, I literally had no appetite for weeks and weeks.

I ate, but not a ton...and felt better after reading that even in countries where the women are in famine conditions...they still produce perfect breastmilk for their LOs!

This. I have almost no appetite for days at a time and then, here and there, I'll have one day where I can't stop eating. I tried to drink a lot of juice and iced tea just to give my body some calories to work with.
