my LO is sick

DS has been congested since birth but the pedi has been blowing me off about it since it didn't seem to bother him. He is3 months now and yesterday he was having a hard tired time sleeping and nursing because of the congestion. We always run a vaporizer in his room but this morning he woke up congested and has puss in his left eye which I know is a sign of an infection. I am calling the pedi tomorrow morning because he is def sick but today he just doesn't want to eat and is sleeping a lot! He eats but not like he normally does....should I pump so my supply doesn't dip?

Can you tell where the congestion is? Do you actually see snot in LO's nose? I thought my LO was congested but it turned out to actually just be milk refluxing into her throat and gurgling when she breathed.

It's definely congestion....it's not constant but when we hear it I put saline up his nose and a few minutes later a ginormous bogger comes out. His eye keeps draining and crusting over which is super gross! And he keeps choking on the stuff draining down his throat....I just feel so bad for him :

Poor thing. Maybe you need a new pedi if yours isn't taking your concerns seriously. I hope LO feels better soon.
