Anyone know where to get an artificial tree for a steal? I'm going to check the local thrift store, I think she had some in the window.

Long story short, apparently our dehumidifier quit in the basement, and our old tree mildewed. Gross. Everything in tubs is fine, but tree in cardboard box, not so much. We probably needed a new on anyways, it's like 10 years old, but I was hoping to not buy one this year...

Oh man that stinks! Sorry. We got ours at Home Depot. Unfortunately this time of year is when everyone is trying to cash in on these things. Thrift store is a good idea. If you can get a charlie brown tree this year, then you'd probably be able to score a great one after Christmas for cheap. It's worth it since you can keep them for so long!

This. We got ours 3 years ago for 40 at walmart and It's pretty decent.

We got ours two years ago at Walmart and it died on us this year It was prelit, and there were many dead lights. Last year, we had a problem with the lights as well, but made it work. I'm just so mad it has only been two years!!! We went out on Thanksgiving and got a real tree and plan on buying another fake (NOT prelit) when they all go on sale after the holiday.
