Yesterday I finished the costumes for a pair of one act musicals for a local theatre. I was hesitant to accept the job because Mina was two months old and I was exhausted. The director was aware of our situation new baby, temporarily living with my parents, husband's job so I was leaning towards accepting. James really encouraged me to go for it so I did.
It was so hard!
There were several times that I wanted to dump the unfinished costumes at the theater and quit. Several hours were spent in our kitchen, sewing with my grandma while Mina fussed. My Mom helped when she could and my other grandma helped a little too. Six dresses, a jacket, two skirts, a gas mask with antlers and a lumberjack jackal later, I can finally relax and cuddle my baby.

It might not be clickable because I'm on my phone. The really cool costumes aren't in the picture, they are fancy dresses for the show within the play.
