I caved.....

in TTC After a Loss

I told myself I wasn't going to do the FF VIP upgrade.  I've used it for 2+ years and decided I didn't need all the fancy features.   After 4 days with out the VIP, I caved.  They had a FB promo that made it $25 for a year. 

So I caved on this, but I will hold strong on no wondfos this month!  I've got a box of opks and 2 hpts at the house.  That is all I get.  End of story.  Now it I wind up with a miraculous BFP this cycle, all bets are off.  We will have hpts coming out our ears...


TTC started Oct '10
Me: AMA w/RSD, atypical PCOS w/IR, LPD and High Prolactin. Controlled HP post-loss.
DH: Low-T and borderline morph
18 cycles, 3 medicated w/RE to get to a BFP!
EDD 9/7/12, Saw HB @7w3d,missed m/c 1/30 @8w3d, d&c 2/8
11 AL cycles, 9 medicated/IUI cycles. All BFFN!
Moving forward with IVF
BFP#2 our little cycle break surprise on AL cycle 12! EDD 10/27/13
Beta #1: 41 Beta #2: 398; perfect u/s 3/11 hb @133bpm
u/s 3/25 one perfect hb @183 bpm, adjusted EDD 10/23/13
MaterniT21 and carrier screens normal. It's a girl!!!
Severe Pre-E, HFpEF, PE, AMA & IF= OAD

    You were so strong last night! Geez, next time before you click "ok" you need to find one of us! We can help you! Now I sound like a recovering alcoholic...which I am but thats besides the point!
    I have short term memory loss. Do not take it personally if I do not remember you right away.
    No longer trying to conceive at all.

    I know.  I talk a mean game, but I am weak.  I sat there debating for about an hour before I pulled the trigger.  It is/was ridiculous.  I do like seeing a visual representation of the specifics though.  It serves as a good motivator and reminder to get my butt to the gym or keep up with ultrasound dates.  I could do those things on my own, but I've grown dependent on damnFF. 

    That's it though.  I will not cave on anything else this cycle.  I will not pick up my thermometer and start temping.  I will not buy tests.

    I love you. And I may or may not have just caved and bought it as re-uped after you mentioned the discount. Also, somehow, clicking on your ticker, ending up giving me an extra 30 free days. I now have 416 days left of my VIP membership. That is so depressing.

    I would love too!  Sadly, I'm stuck cleaning my stupid house.  I may ask DH to get me a housekeeper for Christmas.  I seriously hate to clean.  I love the end results, but I hate the tediousness to get it there.

    I have been going back and forth on this too. For now I am holding strong on my complimentary membership, but who knows how long that will last lol
