Can I start the mini pill?

Hi! I'm 6 1/2 weeks post partum and EBF. I was planning to start my first pack of mini pills today, but ai believe I may have just started my period. Do you know if ai can go ahead and start the pack? Don't want to bother the on call OB on a Sunday with a question like this. Thanks!

I believe you can start the mini pill at any time in your cycle.But it might not be AF and rather the common '6 week bleed' some women get a bit of bleeding again around 6 weeks PP but it's months before AF returns.

Hmmm. Never heard of the six week bleed, but I had the same thing happen at six weeks with my now 2 year old. Didn't have another period with her until 9 months I think. That's pretty weird.
