Do they bounce? Like off the floor? Would it be a relatively quiet toy if you lived in an apartment?
A learned to jump really early (14 months) and it's his favorite activity. We recently moved from a house, where we encouraged jumping, to an apartment on the 2nd floor. He jumps all.the.time and comes crashing down with both feet, shaking the walls. I try to keep him out of the house whenever possible to let him run around outside or at indoor play spaces, but he wakes up in the morning and starts jumping around his room. He jumps during naptime and at bedtime. It's insane.
I've recently resorted to letting him jump on the couch or his bed, but we spent so long teaching him to sit on the couch instead of stand or jump, plus it's a safety hazard. He's already had a sprained ankle and a concussion in the last couple months. So I thought maybe a trampoline would be good? Or any other suggestions?

Also, i'm not sure what your budget is but do you have any indoor bounce house places, we have Monkey Joes.
X LOVES THE HELL out of that place. They have toddler specific areas and if you go during the week, it's not so crowded and they can bounce their hearts out.

This.
Those would be so awesome in a couple years, but it says they're for ages 7 & up.
Yeah, we had a hard enough time finding a place period, let alone a 1st floor apartment. Every decent apartment in our area had waiting lists months long, and we were lucky to get an apartment at all. When our house sold and we had to move quickly, we were considering living at our parents or living apart because there were no apartments available. We're on the list at our apartment for a 1st floor, but they don't expect an opening for a couple years.
We have one bounce house relatively close but it's really made for bigger kids and he gets trampled every time we go. They have a really lame toddler area that he completely ignores. We go to a lot of indoor play spaces, museums, and other people's houses, but my kid jumps like, all the time. It's his preferred mode of transportation.
Anything is going to make noise when you're on the second floor. What about a Jump-o-lene though? It's inflatable and can be used as a ball pit too.

Ok, I seriously want to get that for the house. Rosie would flip her sh!t for this. However, how freakishly huge is it? I'm wondering if it will fit in her play area and we still have room to walk around it. It going outside would not be an option. It's for her to burn energy off inside.
Hmmm, we only have floor space in her play area. Which is actually an eat in kitchen. It looks great! I will have to measure it out. There does seem to be a slightly smaller one (9'x8') made by the same company. We may get that one. If we didn't have the worlds largest sectional the other one would be purchased already.
I imagine you can't do this all the time but Ds loves Skyhigh. We go during Munchkin jump.

Okay, so everyone who replied so far is only telling you to get a bounce house or to move to the 1st floor. We have a mini indoor tramp.
Santa brought this one a couple years ago:

Here is a pic:
We have it on a rug in our basement and unless it is banging the wall, I never hear a thing. It does have a counter and music which makes it noisy, but if you never put batteries in it your son would naver know the difference why it doesn't work.
