Baby Names

WDYT...

Boy Alden Thomas

Girl Charlotte Faith

We find out in three weeks boy or girl but here are my top ideas. Thoughts?

Re: WDYT...

  • I like them both.
  • To me, Alden is OK, NMS, but I love Thomas.

Charlotte is SO popular, so I'm pretty bored with it and think it will be marked as this particular time period. Not a fan of virtue names either, so I don't dig your girl name, sorry.

Nothing wrong with them though beyond my personal complaints, so go for 'em!

  • I like Alden, but I will say that at first I thought it was Aiden. Just be prepared as it may get mispronounced/misspelled as Aiden. Charlotte Faith is very nice!

This was very helpful... I never would have even thought of that! Now that you mention Aiden though... I kind of like it lol. Thank you!
  • I prefer Thomas Alden to Alden Thomas. Love the girl name!

  • I like them both, particularly Alden Thomas. I know too many little Charlottes, but it's a perfectly nice name. And I love virtue names.
  • Deja vu!  Didn't you already ask this?

oh no, what has she done. Stick with Alden over Aiden. I'm so sick of Aiden, anf I don't think I'm the only one.

  • Aiden is far too popular for me, though DH & I loved it before we knew it was popular. I'm so over Charlotte, it's ridiculous.

ETA: Oops, thought it was Alden, so I guess there's PP's case in point. I don't like Alden - it just doesn't roll off my tongue nicely.

  • Neither are my style but both are very solid sounding names to me.  I actually really like Aiden, but it is way too popular for me to actually use.
  • Great names :)

  • Thanks for your advice, ladies. I had no idea Charlotte was popular right now! However, Ive always loved it. And the fact that some people mistook Alden for Aiden is seriously making me reconsider. Thanks again and I'll probably post a poll in the near future if I'm sent back to the drawing board on boys names.
