Mine just stayed with me for 10 days. It was supposed to be 7 but she got the flu the day she was supposed to leave!!!!! FML!

My MIL hasn't been so bad lately but she's still strange.  :-)  Still calls pajamas "yammies" or "yammers" and it drives me bonkers.  I'm trying to raise a strong contributing member of society, here!  I need her to know how to say pajamas correctly!

UGH! Mine takes DS to church every single Sunday, so she's a pretty big part of his life.
She calls diapers "dieties", says "breaftist" instead of breakfast, and she calls bottles "bobbies"

Do your DH/SO's know you can't stand his mother? Mine kind of does. He says I only say negative things about her. That's because there's more negative than positive things to say ;

The jury's still out here. She has been BSC since we told her I was pregnant with DS. She's VERY weird. Time will tell if she sucks, though.

Usually I would have both hands up but she has been being both nice and normal. Idk what is going on, but I will take it!

Mine used to be cool. It seems like everytime she comes and visits she's getting more comfortable and her true colours are showing. She lives a 5 hour flight away Woooo hoooo. You'd think she'd want to spend as much bonding time with my kids as much as possible. I asked her when she was visiting last week if she could watch Dylan for an hour while I dropped my oldest off at school and ran to the grocery store quick since my parents were coming for dinner that night. She replied " AN HOUR?!" I thought she would have been excited clearly not. I wish I didn't ask.
She's also never changed any of my kids diapers. Its not that i expect her to do it, but an offer would be nice. She'll smell poop and she'll make sure she tells me, never offers to change it especially when I'm in the middle of dinner. She was here for 10 days and hardly held Dylan, just babied my oldest. I'm definitely seeing her true colours!

I dont get to post on here much but I am definitely raising both hands!

I blew up and my IL's yesterday and they are very hurt and saying they might not go on the cruise we had planned that leaves next week! Ugggg what a mess.

Hand is raised here. 

We have our moments but things are really not good now. We have gone through and worked through a lot, but everything changed when Sarah was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis in Feb. she has become withdrawn from our family all together. She goes over the top to help BIL and his family but hardly even calls us anymore. We truly believe that she has a fear that Sarah is going to die young and she just can't accept that so she is keeping her distance.

My IL's live right behind me and never come see Brooks their ONLY grandchild.. My MIL owns her own business and can take off when she wants to my FIL is retired and they seriously see Brooks on Mondays only!!! It's very frustrating! My mom who works full time sees Brooks more then the IL's and she lives 20 minutes away.. The IL's never buy Brooks anything either which is fine because we give him everything he needs but it's so frustrating how the MIL acts like its so wonderful to have a grandbaby to everyone when she never even sees him.. Needless to say my hands are up!!
