Seems we have a beaver in the house.....and not an Oregon State Beaver......

The little two legged beaver that decided she is going to use her chompers to attack the rail of her 500 dollar black crib. Went right through the paint and everything! Ugh!

My Goddaughter did this a few months ago when she started teething.  Her mom tied towels to the crib rails, but I personally would order the plastic protectors from Target.

What is with the chewing on EVERYTHING. I could handle the stuff in her mouth, NBD, but she bit a chunk out of MH's nerf basketball (NBD, except it was the one my BFF got him when we were in the hospital after having Layla, and I had to convince him that No, He  could NOT go home to play basketball the next morning, so she brought the game to him), She also has foam blocks she's started biting on the edges of them, we have bite marks on the crib, and if she could figure out how to bite her wooden blocks I'm sure she would bite chunks out of those too. Yesterday she was biting down on a rope that goes to her little wagon and pulling it, I thought for sure she was going to pull out her teeth. She does the same with her washcloth in the bath, so much so that I had to take it away.

My sister got her wooden blocks from Holland that have everything in Dutch. She attacked them with her teeth so I had to put them up where she couldn't get them so they wouldn't get ruined.

I found a thing on Pinterest to sew your own guards for the crib. If you buy them, they only have them for the front rail....I want to cover three of the sides. And this way, I can pick cute patterns for the fabric. The plastic ones won't fit on our crib.

I bought a fabric one that has things to.attach toys she can chew on for the front. The regular ones fit on the side and the back is too high for her to reach.
