I'm thinking about starting a business selling crochet projects, but all the names I want to use are already taken.
Anyone else?

AF finally arrived on Christmas after 167 days of waiting.
TTA until January 2014
PGAL/PAL always welcome
Almost everything with 'hook' in it was taken. I had thought about MadHook, or The Mad Hooker, or Mad Hatter (which I was sure was already taken), and several combinations of those words... All taken.
Also, I suck at naming things.
Also, if you want to learn without getting bored or frustrated, start with something small and easy--I made a lot of dish cloths when I was starting out.
I ran into the same problem when I started my party decoration business. I ended up thinking outside of the box and choosing a name that has less to do with parties... but can be related.
Think about the items you will be making, the description of the items, etc. Maybe use something that has nothing to do with crochet along with the crochet descriptive words -- unwind, yarn, loop, hook, etc. Some of the best names I've seen make absolutely no sense but they are catchy. Hopefully you can find something that isn't already being used. Good luck with your business!
