Does LO prefer one parent?

If so is it for certain things such as cuddling with mom etc etc

I think H is very random... Sometimes. For example the last week or so ill tell her to go with dad and she won't want to .. at.all. She'll cry and run to me and it breaks my heart. TODAY though, she decided that evey time I asked for a kiss she would jerk away from me and give one to dad instead. Which was cute and made up for the running away she did earlier in the week ;

Mason has been doing the same kissing thing today! He has been kissing Jay and the cat all day and totally denying me. He doesn't seem to show a preference in any way. I think that we each play with him and care for him in different ways, but he doesn't seem to go to either of us more than the other or for different things.

If he's hurt, sick, or tired it's all about Mama.

If he's feeling okay it's all about Daddy.

 

If Grandpa, or Great Grandpa are around, Mom and Dad might as well not exist! Lol

Aidan never seemed to care which parent he went to. When he was sick he'd definitely prefer me, but he'd always go to anyone.

dylan has always preferred me. He's the biggest mamas boy you've ever met. If I leave the house without him he loses it. I kinda love it sometimes but other times when I'm really busy and can't give him the attention he wants, it's really hard.

DS isn't really parial..he doesn't show a preference.  Sometimes when he is really tired, he will only go to sleep for me.

I'd say that, 95% of the time, she prefers me.

B comes straight for mommy about 99 of the time. The fact that H has been gone for 2 weeks has not made things any better :. I'm feeling nervous and sad for my husband when we are together as a family again...

Don't be nervous! That's how H and I were... Separated from march till June and we saw each other in between or we stayed at the hotel with him. Everything will be fine I promise! I also had H talk to DH a few times in the phone , it was nice for both of them.

I think she probably seems to prefer DH, but that may be because she doesn't see him as much so she gets more excited when she does see him.
