XP: RE consult question

in TTC After a Loss

How long did it take to get your first RE appointment (from the time you called to the time you actually had your appointment)? I know it can vary a lot depending on geographical area, but I'm trying to find out the general waiting time.

It took 14 cycles TTC to get pregnant and I want to get the ball rolling on this.

BFP #1: EDD 4/16/13~~blighted ovum w/ 2 gestational sacs~~Loss on 9/18/12
BFP #2: EDD 9/3/13~~Slow HB at 1st U/S~~MMC -Loss on 2/13/13
9/13, 10/13, 1/14: letrozole + trigger + TI = All BFNs
3/14: IUI#1 letrozole/Bravelle/Menopur + trigger = BFN
BFP #3: EDD 1/27/15 Please be our rainbow! ...Team Green

    I have a consult with an RE scheduled for next week and I think when I first called it was 2-3 weeks out.

    Oh, that's not too bad. I have this thought in my head that it's going to take over a month. If it's going to take awhile, I want to call now. If it's fast, I'll just wait until next cycle after this (if I don't end up pregnant).

    A few weeks.  She would have started us with IVF right away, but we wanted to try a little longer on our own.  After a yr of TTC, we started our 1st IVF cycle.

    Natural m/c Oct. 2005

    Dx: balanced translocation and LPD

    TTC since Oct 2011

    BPF 02/19/12, EDD 10/31/12, natural m/c 02/28/12 (4w6d)

    IVF (BCPs starting 10/30/12, ER 11/18/12, 5dt of 1 beautiful, healthy embryo 11/23/12)
    BFP 12/02/12, u/s @ 6w,5d showed 2 HBs! Identical twins!!
    Bed rest from 21w-35w due to short cervix, hospital bed rest from 23w-32w due to PTL
    Our rainbows were born 07/19/13 (36w, 5d)

    A week and a few days to get te consult. But we had to wait until the start of the next cycle to actually start testing.

    A couple weeks for my first RE consult.

    I fired that RE and booked a consult for 12/26 with a new RE, so about 5 weeks from booking to appt. We're not sure how much of our testing will have to be repeated or if we can move right into IVF.

    Six years of infertility and loss, four IUIs, one IVF and one very awesome little boy born via med-free birth 10.24.13.

    It took me about a month to get in for consults with all 3 RE's I've seen.
    PAIF/SAIF, PGAL/PAL welcome.
    TTC since March 2010 ~ Dx Unexplained IF September 2011
    2011: IUI + Clomid = CP#1
    2012: 3 more IUIs + Clomid = 3 more CPs. One on-our-own pg, also CP
    2013: BTB IUI + Lupron/Follistim/Prometrium/PIO = CP #6
    IF testing, RPL testing, Autoimmune testing = all normal
    So lost.

    I saw my re after a d and c, and he wanted me 6 to 8 weeks post so my hormones would be leveled.

    BFP#4 3/17/14 - rainbow Baby BOY arrived 11/10/14 !!

    DX: Uterine Septum - Resection 9/5/13 || MTHFR Hetero A1298C || My Chart

    I could have gone a few days later b/c pf a cancellation but I couldnt make it. The next appointment was about 3 weeks out.
    TTC since 4/28/07
    Diagnosed w/ endometriosis 12/2010 Laproscopic surgery & 6 months of Lupron
    BFP 12/17/2011,EDD 8/23/12,ectopic discovered 12/29/11 at 6 weeks recieved methotrexate
    Dec '12 HSG & ultrasound showed abnormalities & more endo. Laproscopic surgery in January '13 showed significant damage & scar tissue from Endo. IVF is our best shot to concieve our rainbow.

    June '13 Decided to go the adoption route!

    TTC our first, both age 29 BFP#1 Twins, Missed MC with complications (long story) BFP#2 CP DX: DH-no issues Me-PAI-1 1/2013 Hysteroscopy/Laparoscopy to remove polyp and adhesions March 2013 IUI #1 with Follitism + Trigger

    I called this past Monday, got an appointment on December 4
    BFP #1 - Mango - 6/11/12, EDD 2/22/12 Natural MC 7/15/12
    BFP #2 - Nacho - 10/14/12, EDD 6/20/13, MMC 8 weeks, D&C 11/16/12
    All testing shows both H and I are perfectly normal. Baby Nacho had triploidy. 
    Back to normal business December 2012
    BFP #3 - Froggy - 1/15/13, EDD 9/27/13 TEAM GREEN
    It's a girl! Alice - Born 9/20/13, 8lbs 2oz

    I had to wait almost two months for mine, but my clinic is the only one within 250 miles of here. 
    TTC with MFI, PCOS, and endometriosis since February 2010
    BFP January 20,2012, Loss confirmed January 22,2012
