TTCAL Frustration

So I haven't been very active on TB lately, I've been checking in and keeping up with everyone, but haven't been posting. I guess when we past the 6 months TTCAL mark, I got kind of down and feeling like it's never going to happen. Guess what. It's now 1 year since we concieved the baby we lost and only 6 weeks away from when we lost the baby. I just thought we would have at least gotten pregnant again by now. Between temping, tracking CM and cervical position, and doing OPKs, I thought we would have had SOME luck by now. But nope, nothing. I went to my specialist last month to talk about getting put back on Clomid and AGAIN he tells me to wait until it's been a year since the MC, and to keep charting and using the OPK's and that at my appt in January, we'll talk about Clomid. I wanted to punch him. We tried for a year and a hlaf before being put on Clomid, and after 3 rounds got PG, then MC... And he's making us wait to try Clomid again? Doesn't make sense to me, but I'm not a Dr.. As far as the charting and OPK's go, I'm getting even more frustrated. I'm on CD16. OPK's HAVE NOT detected ovulation. temping HAS detected ovulation. My cervix was hard and closed when temping says I ovulated but I had EWCM and now my cervix is open and soft with SH*T for CM... And OPK's still tell me to go F myself. December better go by fast so my appt with the Dr. gets here quickly. We really thought we'd be pregnant again by now... Sorry for the long rant ladies and sorry if any of it was TMI. I'm just frustrated and most people IRL do not understand...

I'm sorry that you have been waiting so long.  That's got to be frustrating.  I'm not a doctor either, but that seems ridiculous to me, especially since you had trouble conceiving your first pregnancy.

Is the specialist you're seeing an RE?  Have you considered going somewhere else?

This. Having to wait to do another medicated cycle seems outside the norm of most REs mentioned here.

I am sorry you have been waiting so long. I have no real medical advice, but I would say contact an RE, or get a second opinion. Hugs!

Thanks for the hugs ladies. My specialist is through the VA (I was in the Army) so the health care is free, and actually good when you get past the waiting. I'm trying to stick with my Dr but it's hard when I know other REs with do medicated cycles sooner.
