Ladies, I need ideas

I've been thinking and thinking of ideas for the family christmas card this year. I wanted to start something fun and interesting. An idea that came to me and DH was reenacting an event from the year in a style very similar to these family photos.

So we're trying to think of an event from this past year that's cutesy and fun and not too difficult to do. I do graphic design and photography, so hopefully this project won't be too difficult. So far all we've thought of is the olympics.

I love those photos! I have no idea how I'd make it work though - but you are more creative in that department than me!

DH and I started with a "funny" photo last year and will continue. Last year we did this.

 

This year we are wrapping DH in green garland and lights, then I will hold Hayley up in her christmas dress as she hangs an ornament on him.

If you wanted to go with the year though - I like the idea of the olympics...or maybe how having a baby who is on the go makes life crazy now? We thought about having us tied up in lights and Hayley holding the end while laughing. But we would need help to do that and we like to surprise our fam/friends with the photo. It's in our back pocket though.
