This check-in is for Friday, November 23, 2012.  I hope everyone had a wonderful week and are ready to kick-off the holiday season. I plan on avoiding the shopping madness known as Black Friday but who knows with DH - he likes to shop.  I'm excited today because MH and I get to have lunch with a friend who is visiting from Kansas. We are going to a great little Mexican restaurant in Phoenix. She also is AMA and going through her on TTCAL struggles.

I plan on running this check-in once per week on Friday's. If anyone would like to have the check-in be twice a week, please weigh in!

This is a check-in designed for us that are AMA (35+) and dealing with that added challenge in our TTCAL journeys. Please feel free to share your insights, vents, thoughts, and anything else. Mostly this check-in is to remind all of us that we are not alone and to offer support to each other.

You did have a temp drop though so maybe you are gearing up to O? MsAmandaPants - Congrats on your BFP!!!! I know you had completely given up hope on ever getting a BFP and I am so very happy for you. Now stay at PgAL! babystoli - Congrats on your BFP!!!! I know you have a lot of things going on, FX and T&Ps that you have a H&H 9 months. egsquared - That is incredibly frustrating that your RE failed to tell you about your AMH levels for four months! We are officially on CD1 after a 37 day cycle.  My cycles definitely have gotten longer since I've turned 40 but it looks like I'm just O'ing later in my cycle - should I be worried about a 17 day LH? Not sure.  I just ordered TCOYF and am prepared to become even more obsessed about my chart. 

QOTD - DH is a day after Thanksgiving decorator.  He had an artificial tree but we bought a smaller house and have no room to store. I convinced him that over a month was a little long for a live tree. We will be putting up lights this weekend and probably will wait until the first weekend in December to put up our tree.

egsquared - That is incredibly frustrating that your RE failed to tell you about your AMH levels for four months! I'm glad you have a plan going forward. I also wanted to say that I love the pic of your DD - makes me smile every time I see it.
Awwwe, thanks for the compliment on DD. She really is pretty smiley all the time.

We're nearing the end of the 2WW here. I'm an idiot and tested this morning at 9dpo - BFN. Not suprising. I have to call the RE on cd1 and see what we do next month. Depending on timing, we have either one more cycle on our own or we'll start prepping for IVF. Crazy.

QOTW: I hope to start decorating today or tomorrow. I can't believe we're already in the holiday season.

I haven't decided if having a house full of wondfos is a good idea or not.  I'm more tempted to POAS early when one is in the house. I can't imagine the crazy stress you are under right now. I looked at your chart and FF put your coverline really high compared to your previous months.  Are you having any symptoms?

No symptoms that are any different from my typical pms symptoms. Blah. I think the coverline is kind of high. I'm not sure what to make of that. Oh, and that was the last hpt I had in the house, so now I MUST go out and buy a couple today to get me through the weekend. Lol. Wondfos on order but not here yet. Silly thanksgiving getting in the way of my poasing!

I guess I fit here now ! I'm Wickedsugar, I turned 35, Nov 11th. Due my Kidney issues, I am not able to work with an RE. My H and I have given TTCAL an timeframe of 6 cycles now, and this 2nd cycle will yet again be a bust, as CD 1will likely be tomorrow. As for the QOTW, I will most likely start decorating for the holidays this weekend if I get the time.

Happy be-lated birthday Wicked and welcome to the AMA club.  I read your blog and hate seeing that temp dip on your chart. Fluck.

Hmmm..... I just assumed it was from different times.  Open circles mean that something in the data may be unreliable - usually if you take your temps at different times of the day or if you enter that you were sleep deprived.  I got an open circle the day that I temped at 2 a.m. (normally temp around 4:45) but it only gave me the one open circle.  Not sure why all of yours are open.  Your temp drop today may be from taking your temp so much earlier than normal.
