My grandma gave me a $50 "Thanksgiving present" yesterday. She gave $50 to each of her granddaughters... I don't know if she gave any to hubs, but I'm not telling him about mine. I plan on buying myself something on Cyber Monday.
We saw my neices new babies yesterday, 2 neices both had babies a month apart. They were ugly, both of them. I would never tell their moms that but I was thinking it. I held them both 2 months old and 3 months old....gave me baby fever. The 3 month old weighed more than Emily and was much bigger than her
I am about to head out for some black friday shopping even though I swore I wouldnt, DH wants a drill that is normally 150$ on sale for 50....so I have to go try to find it.

I'll skip all the back story, but suffice it to say, MIL is anorexic. Before I served up dinner last night, I made sure to mix in extra butter and heavy cream into her mashed potatoes and her acorn squash soup. She said it was the best food she had ever eaten.
Hayley ate Thanksgiving dinner last night - even though I wasn't planning on it (since we eat so early). My mother fed her sweet potato casserole, apple/peach cobbler, green bean casserole, and pumpkin pie with whipped cream. The kid was in a sugar rush I think!
Gabriel ate 3 Popsicles yesterday. He has a double earn infection and cut two teeth. Things are miserable, he wouldn't eat and I let him have them. He was quite and they helped me keep him hydrated.
They weren't baby popsicles either... they were my adult rockets . He loved every minute of then and will totally have another one today.

I'm a really light sleeper and hate being touched. Also, I wake up and take care of Ethan during the night since I have the boobs and H works. Anyways, H sometimes sticks his knees, elbows or butt into my back, and he sometimes snores really annoying. If he does any of that, I push him, flick him or whatever it takes to get him to stop. Then he will occasionally wake up and complain how he feels like *** because he didn't sleep good/ isn't rested. :

I do the same thing. I nudge him all night long. And the snoring gets progressively louder unless I rattle him awake!
I just realized that my son's name (Adam Jack) is related to a game me and H played: Bioshock. Adam is a substance in the game, and Jack is the main character in the game.
My cat's name(Atlas), and one of my stuffed friends(Bubbles) comes from the game too.
Facepalm.
The game is a little bit demented. And I just realized it.
I have a FFFC... Remember, uws, this is flame free.
MIL noticed that she couldn't see some of the photos I had uploaded to Facebook. Turns out I may have moved her to Restricted at some point. DH just spent five minutes telling her it was her cache and "resetting" it for her, while I moved her out of the restricted subset, so that resetting it would actually fix it.
Oops.
Ha, and DH says he remembers when I did this, because mil shares every single picture, and then I get a bunch of comments from complete randos on photos of my child. I vaguely remember this pissing me off, come to think of it.
Apparently, a lot of lucky bishes got today off too, so it's like the beginning of their weekend. I know that when they're using their phones, a lot of girls hang out on the FB page because it's a bajillion times easier than TB mobile.
I saw Sooner stirring up things on the AP board.
The dead-ness of this board today is what has got me diaper bag shopping. I don't know whether I'm happy or mad about it.
Mine is that I need to lighten up about giving the girls unhealthy food. They've had some - a French fry here and there, a bite or two of pudding, things like that - but not much at all. I was happy that we left my parent's house before dessert and that they were in bed before dessert at my ILs because I wasn't thrilled about the idea of them having all that sugar before bedtime. They'll have their own cakes at their birthday party, but I'm worried that I'm taking my own food issues and going overboard with the girls.

This separation anxiety is crazy. My house is almost spotless right now, because I've had him in the Moby for 95 of his time awake. I'm dying here. Finals are coming up, and I have like.... No time to study because he screams at me if I set him down, unless he's getting into something he shouldn't be. But he calls me mama, so all of a sudden it's ok.
Edit: This isn't much of a confession, more of a vent...

You must be my long lost twin because this same exact situation happened to ME...only I recently restricted her on purpose for the same reason. We had a very similar conversation yesterday! LOL
Hey! Just asking questions...can't help it that some people don't agree with my opinions. At least I am used to it! Hope you made it through the day without dying of boredom and that you have a great weekend!
Sooner, I don't know why they got all up in arms. It's not like you were saying AP parents shouldn't get divorced, you were saying that her line of thinking is on the extreme end so it seems like an odd decision. Because of how extreme she is I really wonder what the reason behind the divorce is. Although I don't agree that addiction/abuse/something just as serious would be the only reasons that I would get divorced (if we were both really unhappy and had tried different things to fix our relationship I wouldn't see the point in staying together) but I realize that you said those were the only reasons that YOU would get divorced.

Jen--why can't you follow me around as my official interpreter?! You could use your diplomatic and logical skills to explain what I am actually trying to say, without ruffling feathers!

Actually, thanks to you I had a bit of entertainment! :] I did get your point in that post, btw. [i didn't mean "stirring things up" in a bad way, either!]
