We have 5 that are 7 and under, and I love it. For us the 18 month spacing is good, I don't think I could have BF so long if I was pregnant 3 months postpartum, and that was important to us.
I voted thinking about it, b/c I would consider it if we could afford it. With 2 in DC FT already I think we're going to have to wait a few years before we can add a 3rd. I might wait til DD starts kindergarten, then do 2u2 again.
I never had a desire to do 3u3. If space/finances weren't an issue, I would have had my 2u2, got pregnant with #3 when #2 was around 2.5ish, then did 2u2 with #3 and #4.
Voted thinking about it, because we started trying for #3 and if it had happened that first month, we would have had 3u3. Instead, it took almost a year to get pg with #3, so we are having 3- 3 and under for about 2 months. We will see how it goes!!
If we had gotten pregnant right away we would have 3u3. It ended up taking a few months of TTC, then a miscarriage, and a couple more months of TTC to end up with this current pregnancy, so DDs will be about 3.5 and 2.5 when DD3 is born.
Like PP, breastfeeding is an important factor for me in deciding when to have another one. I would love to have all my kids 12 months apart, but breastfeeding through a pregnancy is hard. I got pregnant with DD2 when DD1 was 5 months old and we were EBFing. We were able to continue BFing without needing formula and eventually went on to tandem nurse when DD2 was born, but it was tough and very stressful making sure she was getting enough milk.
If we have a #4, I would like him/her to be 2u2 with DD3, so I plan to pump a bit every day as well as EBF so I have enough BM stocked up in case I need to supplement when I'm pregnant.
No thanks! We both want a large family (5 or 6 kids) but we are young so we don't have the pressure of getting them here as fast as possible.
I would ideally like to wait 2-3 years between #2 and #3. I could see us easily doing 2U2 again for number #3 and #4 because I want each sibling to have someone close in age. Right now, I just want some time to enjoy my little family of 4.

Well mine are 3 and under. DS1 turned 3 the week before ds3 came. Never in a million years did I think I'd have 3 kids that are 15 months apart then 20 months apart. I will say having ds1 and ds2 so close in age together has been wonderful tih ds3 coming. They always have someone to play with so it gives me time to tend to ds3. Yea there is fighting and lots of rough housing but I wouldn't trade it. I can't wait for ds3 to be old enough to play with them too
Well, we are beyond that possibility (kids are 3 and 2) but I answered "hell to the no" because neither DH or myself were anywhere near ready for another baby that soon.
We are talking about having #3 in the next few years but there will be at the very least a 3-3.5 year age gap between DC2 and DC3. So I guess it will be 3 under 5. Which, IMO, is pretty challenging too .

No more TTC for us. We are done, and at peace, as a family of 4.

We are DONE! 2u2 was challenging enough, add in a preemie, who had major health issues almost the entire 1st year, we've had our fill of craziness. We are so completely happy with our 2 and don't want any more.

This is sort of what my mom did. My brother and I are 18 months apart, then 5 years later she had my younger brother and sister 12 months apart. It worked out well for us. We are now 25, 23, 18, and 17. We're very close and it seemed to be easier on my mom to do it this way. It's a great plan if you're going for 4!
DS1 was born 12/31/09, conceived when he was about 7 months old, continued breastfeeding him until he was 9 months old (and due to work, I likely would have stopped BFing then regardless ), DD was born 4/20/11, conceived when she was 11 months old, continued breast feeding her until she was 13 months old, and now my DS2 will be here no later than 12/24/12- so 3u3 by 7+ days.

We'll have 18 months between Dawee and this baby. And I was a stickler about breastfeeding the first year. I'm still getting slack for not weaning her yet but she's down to 1 time a day and we're all doing okay! We will have 3 aged 3 and under but I would do another 18 month gap next.
We were supposed to have 3u3 but I miscarried. If this baby is as early as DD was then we will be 3u3 for 1 day. Otherwise we will be 3 babies 3 and under.
We are planning 3u3 I love my 2u2 and have always wanted a 3rd dont want 1 to be feel left out so hopefully they will all have a close bond. Also with PCOS our doctor has advised that the sooner the better in terms of fertility

I said yes because my 3 were all under 3 for 6 days this year
I love it, but I'm taking a baby making break for a while. Thinking of adopting 5 years or so.
