I'm using the midwifes at St. Mary's. I love their practice everyone is super nice there and if you don't want a midwife Dr. Brabson is the OB in the practice. stmarysbirth.net
I lOved Roussis and Stephens for prenatal care but I will never ever deliver at Ft Sanders again. They have way too many policies they require that you stick directly to. I realllyyy love Dr Vick who delivers at St Marys
I would try and find someone at who delivers at ParkWest personally and would avoid Ft Sanders.
I heard Dr Brabson (St Marys/Tennova) is great.
I've heard Dr Yang is pretty good, has 5 kids and delivered the last one naturally to see how it was.
I also recommend the Lisa Ross Birth Center. You can get prenatal there and then either deliver there or at UT with an OB they work with.
One think I notice with Roussis/Stephens is the are pro-induction and A LOT of the moms "coincidentally" need a csection due to "failure to progress" or "the baby isn't handling labor well" right around the end of the work day (4-5 PM) AKA time to go home for the day!
I had my 3rd child at the Birth Center and my 4th at ParkWest. Liked ParkWest but can't recommend the OB I used due to him being SUPER pro-medical intervention (kept wanting to induce me for ne reason other than I was nearing 40 weeks, kept asking me if I wanted to circ, I bet he would ever do a csection for no reason at the mom's request). ParkWest is nice b/c it is newer, you get to stay in the same room to give birth and post-partum.
