Not as terrible as expected

Today went much better than I thought it would and for that I am thankful.  My DH and I went to visit Sophia and told her what we were thankful this year and even with all the grief we have felt we are thankful for the time we got with her and the lessons we are learning on how precious life is.

    I'm glad your day went better than expected and that you had a nice visit with Sophia. I've fond that the anticipation of certain days and events is sometimes worse than the actual day/event.
