Crawling and Christmas Trees..

o joy! I am overjoyed that Hayley learned to crawl this week. DH and I are beaming in excitement every time she does it (since we've been waiting for a while now). AAAAND then we put up the christmas tree yesterday...I have now removed pieces of fake needles, christmas lights, and ornaments from her hands that are headed for her mouth. We still have to put the train under it. We are so screwed. That is all.

I'll be honest, this is one of the reasons we're not doing a tree this year. We would do a small table top tree expect for the fact that we're moving a few days before Christmas. I know people will think I'm The Grinch for not celebrating baby's first Christmas "the right way" but for my sanity I think it's just easier. Plus, he won't remember, right?

FTR, we're still celebrating Christmas, just sans tree

We must be one of the lucky one's that L doesn't bother our tree.  He will look at it and touch it with one finger and then crawl off to do something else! Considering myself lucky on this one!!

We just have a small 6' tree so we moved our coffee table to the corner and put our tree up on that. We are still able to put gifts under the tree but they are out of Nolan's reach since he isn't pulling up on things yet. It doesn't look bad at all!
