My 7 month old husky/ german shepherd mix got hit by a car and died within the next few minutes. She was a notorious escape artist from the dog pen we built and evidently a in the makings car chaser. However, when the the only people who lives within a mile of me is family and a neighbor who bought a divorced family member's house, you think the chance's are slim to none of that happening since they all know about Heidi. Anyways, I'm not mad this other neighbor hit her, however, I'm mad he didn't stop. Also, I'm mad that he had his mother call my grandmother, and in part of the story of what happened, tells her that Buster, my other german shepherd, ran out in front of him first. That pisses me off because Buster has been in the dog pen since yesterday morning and can only get out when we let. End of pissed off rant.

omg, I am so sorry! This made me a little teary eyed. Poor puppy. And, I'd be very mad at your neighbor if I were you. Is he a grown man that had his mother call and tell your family? And how fast was he going down a side street that the dog died instantly? I'd be pissed at him. I'm so sorry for your family

I'm not sure, but he does have a jeep with huge tires. Our road is a county road, but it doesn't have any speed signs. They do drive pretty fast though. He's probably in his late 30s to early 40s and still lives with his mom... My H is irrate, but if she did run under his back tires then it's not his fault. I'm more mad at the smaller details.

It sounds like your neighbour would prefer to lie than take responsibility for his own actions. He definitely should have stopped and told you himself. What a shame he acted so cowardly.
