I have to AW my high school!

My high school marching band is marching in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade tomorrow!!!! I was in 7th grade when the band director, Mr. Templeton, came to the schools in 1999, and he had 28 people in the marching band. Now only 13 years later he has 125, which is a lot considering the school only has about 800 kids! I am so unbelievably proud of him and can't wait to watch my "babies" rock the streets of NYC!!!! Keep an eye out for them - the Kenton Ridge Marching Cougars. I think they'll be the 3rd band, he says they start at 10:21!

That's awesome! I was in Color Guard in high school, and we marched (with the band) in the St. Patty's Day Parade in NY. I miss going to competitions. 

And you made me feel old - I graduated in '99!

Aww, this gives me the warm and fuzzies. Marching band will always hold a special place in my heart.

OP - very cool!!  I was a chorus person, not band, but still cool.
