Most of our kiddos are 9 months. I noticed all the Stage 3 foods are a bit more chunkier. I think we are just going to start feeding him whatever we are eating. But we're a weird family who eat cereal for dinner. So that's not going to work for him.
What are you feeding your kiddos for lunches and dinners?
Breakfasts are usually a fruit with cheerios or pancakes. Any other suggestions??
Re: What is your kid eatting
My little guy didn't want the purees for very long. He eats mostly regular food, and I try to spoon feed him some things once in awhile. He is also one of the oldest on here, too.
Breakfast today was an Eggo waffle torn into pieces and apple with cinnamon that I cooked to make much softer. And some puffs
Lunch was peas (whole peas), tiny pieces of cheese, tiny pieces of a leftover pork chop, and some Cheerios.
This kid eats just about anything.
Ethan eats whatever we are eating for dinner unless it's something horrible. We still keep stage 2 foods for emergencies.
Breakfast we usually do greek yogurt, bananas, toast, oatmeal, grits, eggs, whole wheat pancakes etc.
Lunch could be whole green beans, peas, any number of roasted fruits or veggies.
Snacks we usually do cheerios.

Baby N conceived after 1 miscarriage and more than 2 years of TTC. Diagnosis was low sperm count. We found success after 3 months of anastrozole to increase DH's testosterone and one IUI.

Meals are still purees. I haven't talked to daycare about when they switch them off of purees and what they eat then (do I supply the food or do they, and if I supply it what do they prefer). And when we get home at night they're tired and cranky and want to eat immediately so I don't have time to cook. They get some stage 2 and some stage 3 stuff, and yogurt at most meals. They do eat "real" food too - they'll eat anything they can get their little hands on. Tonight a my mom's Olivia has a stage 2 veggie pur?e, homemade cranberry/apple sauce, some chicken that I broke up into pieces, some Cheerios, and a few bites of my mom's ravioli.
DD eats what we eat. She only liked pureed foods for a very short time, and same for the stage 2 purees.
For breakfast she gets yogurt with fruit puree mixed in, followed by a handful of kamut puffs and a few chunks of ham - not a breakfast food, I know, but she loves it! Then we hit on all 4 food groups.
Snacks are blueberries, cheese, puffs, Mum Mums.
Dinner is whatever we eat.
She really only has 2 meals, since her breakfast is late morning, and still has formula in between.
We never did purees. L eats everything... there are very few things we eat that she doesn't. Her current favorites are baked sweet potato, "mac-n-cheese" (whole wheat pasta with cheddar melted on top), Vans Super Grain waffles with roasted red pepper hummus, baked fish, Greek yogurt (I usually mix in whatever fruit I have on hand), taco meat, scrambled egg, and grilled squash.
I always have the waffles, pasta, eggs, and yogurt on hand in case we're out of leftovers or on the rare occasion we're eating something that's not appropriate for her. I'll just offer her one or two of those items with fresh fruit and/or veggies.
