I'm a SS. : I'm not much of a meateater, but I do love ham. I usually don't mind chicken, but I can't stand even looking at it during pregnancy. I'm a chicken snob like that.
Does this make you almost vegetarian? :
Almost.
Just like I'm "kind of pregnant" right now. Not fully... just kind of.
I voted turkey because I only have it maybe 3 or 4 times a year and I love eveything that goes along with it... But you know I LOVE me some chicken! Mmm Mmm!
Eta: I bet my husband would live that turducken! I'm not sure how I feel about that.

I voted SS because I'm an actual vegetarian so I don't eat either. We are having a Gardein "roast" this year. I've never tried it before because I usually make a quinoa stuffed squash or something, but my family wanted something more "traditional." We'll see how it goes.
I didn't vote because sadly, despite my role in "the incident," I don't eat much meat and am also almost a vegetarian.
I'll have an obligatory slice of turkey tomorrow. I will have it again at Christmas, then not again until next Thanksgiving. We have chicken maybe once a month. Like Moosey, I love me a filet though, but only have that once or twice a year too. I'd say we are meatless probably six of seven nights a week, give or take.

This! Tofurkey!
We've been doing Tofurkey for years and I love it, but I did notice the Gardein brand this year. My mom already picked up the Tofurkey, but I like other Gardein stuff so I'm curious how it is. Let me know!

I'd prefer a roasted chicken to a roasted turkey, not sure why. I think turkey gets dried out because it's so big maybe?
But alas, pregnancy has me gagging just looking at the word chicken. And stuffing.
I have no idea how I'm going to survive Thanksgiving!
One word:
Terducken.
Warning to all pregnant mommies - do NOT look down! I'm PIPing the turducken - a boneless chicken stuffed in a boneless duck, stuffed in a turkey.
Mmmmmm...
Oh no, I looked ...
Psthat turducken does kind of look gross. But I've never had duck, so that's probably why.
