Hello!

I was here for part of the summer, and hoping to stick around a lot longer this time!

I had a m/c in July, and am cautiously here again!   My thyroid was whacked out, and hopefully it's now under control.

I'm 38 for a few more weeks, DH is 36,  We are cautiously excited this time around.

 

TTC since Feb 2012. Me: 39, DH: 37
BFP #1 5/27/12- m/c 7/9/12 @ 10w2d (cytotec induced @11w).

    Crossing my fingers for you! Untreated thyroid can definitely cause m/c. Had a few myself, not fun, very sad. You have a great attitude. You & bubs hang in there!

    That's the crazy thing.  With meds, I was within "normal" range for the six months prior.   However, I now know that normal with being on meds isn't really normal. You should be in the lower half of the normal range if you are taking synthroid or cytomel.   TSH was 11 during wk 5!!!  It had been around 3-4 two months prior.   I am now taking both synthroid and cytomel (T3) and TSH is craz low,  so my endocrinologist adjusted the cytomel dose.   He also told me I shouldn't be sumo wrestling or bungee jumping (he's nuts!)

    Hello and welcome back! Sorry about your earlier loss, but now that your thyroid is OK, hopefully it will be smooth sailing for you this time around! FX for a H&H 9 months for you!

    So glad you tried again.  I think 38 is still young (I will be 40 when baby comes) enough not to worry.  Today's 38 is the new 28 so do not worry about this.   Good luck to you.
