Parenting after a Loss

Once Upon a Child

I went there yesterday for the first time. I may never buy baby clothes full price again!

It is crazy awesome! I had been buying DD clothes at Goodwill or thrift stores (in addition to Target, because I can't help myself), but the stuff there is in such good shape and mostly really cute.

  • Totally love once upon a child, and kid to kid. All kinds of super resale store.

  • No kidding! I looooove consignment. I haven't been to a OUAC but we have a Kid to Kid near us, and DD basically only wears consignment plus a few gift outfits from relatives. I get complimented all the time on how nicely dressed she is, and sometimes I just can't help blurting out, "It's consignment!". I love Janie & Jack clothes, which are way out of our price range, and it makes me feel good that she can have a few Janie & Jack items that cost me around $5 apiece. I guess that's sort of consumerist, but it's consignment, so I argue that that makes up for it. Big Smile Cute and cheap, works for me!
