crying at work

So embarrassing. Currently there are too many of us without enough work and tensions are getting a little high. My co-worker tried to outrank me today and say that I should give her the work because she is senior and I said no, so we had a little heated discussion in cube land. I always end up crying when I am angry and now I am getting emails from all over the office asking if I am ok because everyone can hear the sniffing.... My eyes are all red and puffy now and all my eye makeup is gone and it is a long way to the bathroom passing too many people. so I am just hiding at my desk, hoping no one comes over.. Although, I guess I prefer tears to punching her in the face which is what I really wanted to do. I'm not even pregnant so I really have no excuse. Post something funny please.

Just hide out in your cube a little while! I'm a crier when I get mad, too, and I always hated it when I sat in my cube. I can close my office door now and sob to my little heart's content. I also keep extra makeup at work for those moments. I hope your day gets better!

I don't have anything funny to add but I cry at work sometimes too! Despite how hard I try not to. I kind of hate it, but I also just think it means I am honest with my emotions and I don't fake how I feel. Hope your day gets better soon!!!

Thanks all, I am better now. I will definitely wear that cat suit, although I don't know that DH may run the other direction. Hopefully this co-worker moves on soon since there are few people that can take her craziness.
