PNP as BC?

It definitely can. We used it combined with me being on the pill before DH and I got married.

Maybe one of the reasons I shudder thinking about PNP...I cannot stand the mess!  DH and I never seem to have that problem - usually pretty mess free.  Maybe we aren't doing it right?!

Unless we're wrapping the package or TTC, I want hubs to pull out. I freaking hate that mess. Man juice grosses me out.

We have a stack of towels that we keep in the closet. Always funny when one of us forgets the towel. That's when you can tell who's really lazy.

We don't pull out either, I'm shocked at how many do. We keep a towel near by and it comes in handy afterwards.

We don't even do that!  No pull out, no towel...I'm just asking for a mess but it almost never happens!

It always ends up on my stomach...or back. (: We actually have baby wipes handy. No need in dirtying up some towels. We used towels pre-baby though..

 

 

 

ETA: To add that we are now using condoms. Before AF showed up last Wed we were not using any form of BC. I didn't want to get pregnant, but we were stupid and not preventing. NOW we are using condoms. It's funny though, I haven't shopped for condoms in a looooooong time. I had no idea what to look for..haha

I just can't not ask this, since we have never used the PNP method - doesn't that leave a little something to be desired for the guy?  I mean, in that moment... you don't really want to have to remember to do something, never mind stop what you are doing in that moment of uhh..."release".  How do your DH's feel about this method?

Since the pill gives me migraines and I'm irrationally terrified of an IUD, we had to choose to do PNP or condoms. I left the choice up to hubs, since it affected him more than me. He chose PNP because he says he enjoys the feeling of sex without condoms. Having to pull out is an ok compromise for getting to have sex au naturale.

And yes, I realize that this is an incredibly risky (non)form of bc. We do attempt to avoid having sex on my fertile days though.

ETA: he also says it's nbd to pull out in that "big moment".

DH prefers PNP. Hubs said that he can't feel nearly as much with a condom. With PNP he feels everything...and I try and lend a...hand to help with the release.
