My sister called me today and told me that my registry looked empty. I thought I had TOO much stuff on there!! Anybody know what a good amount of items to have on a registry is. There are about 50 people invited to the shower (although probably around 35 will come) and my MIL is throwing a second shower probably with about 20 people there. HELP! Also, if you have any suggestions on items that I'm missing, or ones that really aren't necessary let me know. All this stuff is so new to me.
Re: Help with Registry?
Sorry guys! See if this one works. Hope it does

This. Don't register for stuff unless you actually want it and if people don't want to buy from your registry, they won't. And as far as clothes go... (at least in my circle of friends/family) people generally just see something cute and buy it because baby clothes are cute.
Your links aren't working for me, but for the number of guests you have, I'd aim for 100-150 items between your two registries at a variety of price points (some people like to make a basket or diaper cake with lots of little items, some like to go in together for a big group gift).
I'd include anything you would purchase yourself to use in the first year of baby's life. I wouldn't recommend registering for clothes or toys because clothing stocks change so frequently and are different in different stores, it will be hard for people to find the items you want. People also usually buy a ton of clothing off-registry and you'll get tons of toys as presents down the line.
I'd make sure to include: nursery furniture, bedding, diaper changing supplies, bath tub and supplies, swaddle blankets, car seat, stroller, PNP, swing, bouncer, nursing/feeding supplies, toiletries, and a monitor.
