Trying not to freak out!!

From LMP I should be 9.5 weeks - I had an ultra sound at 6.5 weeks and there was only a yolk sac. I had my hcg levels tested and they were 7239, had them tested 2 days later and they only rose to 7520. I had another ultrasound and hcg test at 8.5 weeks - on the us they saw a fetal pole measuring 5 mm but no heartbeat was seen. My hcg levels were in the 16,000s. Still hoping for a miracle but not sure how much hope there is. I am totally stressing myself out trying to determine if I still feel pregnant. I have only had some mild cramping (similar to my first child) - no spotting. next hcg level test is Wed. I am so sad! Not sure if it is wise to be optimistic or if I am setting myself up for heartache. Dr. just keeps preparing us for the worst!!

I'm so sorry that you are having to go through this. I know it is easier said than done but try not to stress too much, that's not going to help you or the baby. I am sending positive thoughts your way and I pray everything will turn out well for you.
