Would you ever use the term "pull the plug" when it's time to let them go? That just showed up in my FB thread.
It was something like, "my uncle is getting worse. our family has decided the best thing to do is pull the plug and let him go in peace."

I think people post way too much personal info on FB.

And no, that is not a term I would use.
It's something I've said to MH now while talking about what we would want if the situation occurred but there is no way I would post something like that when actually facing the situation with someone.
Although I wouldn't be posting about it on FB in the first place so there's that.
Sorry for your loss...how heartbreaking.
My grandma had to make the decision for my then 19 year old uncle. I can't imagine she would have phrased it that way.
