Did anyone else watch the baby study on 60 Minutes last night? I thought it was really interesting. The "liking the nice bear" made sense but I was surprised about them liking the puppet that was mean to the one that was different than them. Thoughts?
I'll probably look up more info on this study - I'm curious about the size of the sample groups, if there was any control group, etc.

Re: 60 Minutes - Anyone see the baby thing?
Agreed. But then I didn't think some of the comparing puppets were different enough. I had a hard time remembering if it was the elephant in the yellow gray shirt being mean or the elephant in the blue gray shirt. I guess they kept them in the hand corresponding with the side of the scene they were in?
I only watched a little of it, but I thought the same thing as well! I always default to cynicism with studies like this.
I was thinking the same thing that's why I want to look up more info. I'm hoping they just showed one situation but switched the "bad" and "good" puppets around. Same with the blue shirt vs the yellow shirt on the bear.
For the control group I was wondering if they had both puppets be nice to see if the kids picked them 50:50 or if it was skewed towards a color.
