Not sure if thats a bump acronym... but piss &moan it is.
I had a long weekend w/ DS since he's been sick w/ bronchiolitis & double ear infection so it was nursing all the way. Left my pump at work so I had really blocked out how much I loathe it. Mondays are just worse than other days for 2 reasons - There is whole week of pumping ahead (fortunately its a short week - my something to be thankful for today) and because after being close w/ DS for 2 whole days I sort of forget how much I hate it - so Monday am its hits me like a truck. I'll be so glad when we can go to WCM and be done with this bs.
Anyone else?
Re: Monday pumping P&M
IUI#2 Femara/Ovidrel (cd 5-9) = BFN
IUI#3 Femara/Ovidrel (cd 3-7) = BFP!
beta #1 11/23 = 270, P4 = 75
beta #2 11/28 = 2055
Our daughter E was born 7/29/2012!
Surprise, our 2nd daughter P was born 5/22/14!
Am looking forward to am and pm nursing as well. Although I want my baby boy to slow down and stop getting so big so fast!
Agree w/ pp's about lower volumes on Monday. Which is hard b/c from all my reading before pumping was a necessity it said Monday would be the most productive. So many myths I've uncovered.
Interesting way to think about it w/ the calories... lol. They should install meters on the pumps to log calorie output during pumping, kind of like a treadmill...at least that part would be encouraging!
Yup i'm pumping right now and it is damn annoying. DD is just about 10 months old now and i have decided that I will be dropping one pumping session and I will be pumping only once a day around noon. I have thought long and hard about this decision and gotten a lot of opinions. I think it's going to work for me because I still plan on BFing plenty at home, at night and in the morning. I BF exclusively on weekends and I have 200 oz or so of frozen BM. Also my daughter isn't drinking that much milk during the day so I "think" I will be fine. She is a great BFer and I am NOT planning to wean anytime soon, just dropping one pumping session at work.
We'll see how it goes. I'm very nervous about losing my milk supply but I've been pretty lucky to have a lot of milk this time around, so here goes!!!
