Does Motrin make your infant hyper?

Welp,dd is now in Tylenol, Motrin and an amoxicillin..awesome. Praying her body responds and her ear infection gets nipped in the  bud so her fever stays away! In the meantime, gave her Motrin at 630 and she is still awake at 11:30!!  She will not calm down just throwing the remotes around. We've tried rocking, laying on the coach, laying in my bed, nada. She gets down and tries to escape. Heelllp me! Thank God for my awesome parents who are in their way to save me.

This morning she did not have a fever, so I did not give her any medicine. Do you think I should keep tylenol, motrin in her system even if fever is not an issue? She has not had a fever since last night. My mom is watching her today while I am at work. She did think she had a slight fever...Motrin was the last thing she got (other than amoxicillin) at 6:30 pm. Think I should give her Tylenol even if her fever is low?

Gotcha..so it is ok to skip a dose of the tylenol/motrin if she is acting normal/no fever. Not essential to do every 4 hours if not needed. Thank you.

DS gets restless and weird from Tylenol. Motrin works great for him. If I'm alternating them I try to time it so he would never get Tylenol within 4 hours of a nap or bedtime. But mostly I just stick with Motrin and avoid Tylenol. But there is a definitive difference in the way he reacts to the two meds.

The first time I gave my oldest Motrin (at 15 months) she reacted that way too.  The Dr said it probably wasn't the Motrin, but I disagreed.
